Studybay Bidding Bot Manual

Configure and optimize your Studybay bidding bot for maximum efficiency.

  • User: Your account's ID (e.g., 565767)
  • Product Key: M-Pesa payment confirmation code (e.g., TE61MCO8OV) after paying to TILL 525051
  • Comment: Default chat message sent after placing a bid
  • Min Deadline: Minimum allowed deadline in seconds (e.g., 3600 = 1 hour)
  • Max Deadline: Maximum allowed deadline (e.g., 31536000 = 1 year)
  • Refresh Rate: Frequency (in seconds) to check for new orders
  • Min Pages: Minimum number of pages
  • Max Pages: Maximum number of pages
  • Urgency Filter:
    This filter skips large orders with short deadlines. For instance, to skip orders with a deadline of 3 hours or less if they exceed 20 pages:
    Urgency Period: 10800 (3 hours)
    Max Urgency Pages: 20
  • Profile: Leave as default (used to support multiple accounts on a single computer)
  • Background: Run the bot without showing the browser (Chrome)
  • Simulation: Check only for testing
  • Exclude Discipline:
    • Checked: Skip subjects listed in C:\Clickinstruments\userfiles\discipline.txt
    • Unchecked: Only bid on listed subjects
  • Internal Bid Auto: Automatically fetch all settings parameters from Studybay. (Uses a local defined configuration if unchecked.)
  • Empty price: Bid without puting a price
  • Price: Choose between;
    • Minimum
    • Average
    • Maximum
  • Bid Limit Retry: Sets the wait time in seconds before retrying a bid when slots are full. Zero disables retries.
  • Comment 2: Sets the follow-up chat message after the initial default chat message.
  • Comment 2 delay: Specifies the number of seconds to wait before sending Comment 2.
  • Comment 3: Sets the follow-up chat message after the comment 2.
  • Comment 3 delay: Specifies the number of seconds to wait before sending Comment 3.
  • 0 Page CPP 1 to 14+ Page CPP: Adjust your CPP. For example, if the value on the site "Page CPP" is 2 and you want it to be 3, add 1 (i.e., 2 + 1 = 3). If the value is 7 and you want 5, subtract 2 (i.e., 7 - 2 = 5).
  • Beep: Alert sound after bidding
  • Auto Update: Automatically fetch latest version
Bot Configuration Files (Located at C:\Clickinstruments\userfiles)
  • discipline.txt: Subjects to include or exclude
  • user-ids.txt: Specify UserIds of Clients to avoid
